Tiger Shark

A commissioned piece that has been installed under a glass landing in a private residence, Tiger Shark is suspended by cables and can be viewed from above as well as at eye level. This unique location provides an opportunity to showcase the sinuous movements of a swimming shark. A large section of curly redwood is ideal for the body. The natural flame patterning of the wood mimics the beautiful tigerlike striping natural to this species.
