INTERTIDAL

One of my first memories as a kid was looking into the tide pools. There is a whole world of lifeforms to be seen for anyone who learns how to see them. This California tide pool sculpture started with a unique piece of shihuahuaco wood that had nodules on it that resembled sea anemone. The bronze mussel shells and palm kelp build out the ecosystem with a bronze kelp fish and bronze and redwood surf perch.
