Wahoo captures the power and elegance of a fish that ranks among the fastest in the ocean. The curly redwood and curly maple match the bold striping of the fish. I wanted to capture the vitality of these powerful fish. The head and fins are hammered and welded bronze, and saw blades serve as teeth. The eyes have recessed pieces of abalone as the pupils.
