Coastline

This piece started with a rock found on the coast, riddled with holes from burrowing clams. Instead of fighting the texture, Casey built little ecosystem around it. Added some bronze mussels and a sea star to complete the scene. It’s a collaboration with nature. In Casey’s view, he just finished what the clams had already started.
