Taking Flight

Flying fish can leave the water and glide through the air, and this sculpture captures the excitement of their taking to the sky. Taking Flight features two airborne fish, and a third is building up speed so it can join them. The base is stylistically carved out of wood to resemble ripples on the ocean surface.
